Our programs

Class 5 Car

The Class 5 licence is the starting point for most drivers in Quebec. Since 2010, the SAAQ requires a mandatory Road Safety Education Program (PESR) — 4 phases, 12 theory modules, 15 driving lessons, a knowledge exam and a road exam. About 12 months start to finish.

At Qazi, we follow that program to the letter but pace it to you. Phase 1 · Theory

5 modules · ~10 h

The first 5 SAAQ modules: vehicle, highway safety code, defensive driving. Online, at your pace, before you touch the wheel.

Learner's permit

SAAQ knowledge exam

Once Phase 1 is done and you've held the learner's permit for at least 10 months, you sit the SAAQ knowledge exam. Passing it makes you eligible for the road test.

Phases 2 to 4

7 modules · 15 sessions

Alternating theory + practice. First accompanied hours, urban traffic, highway, winter driving as needed. Each student progresses individually.

SAAQ road test

~45 minutes · SAAQ centre

We drive you to the centre, provide the vehicle, and run a 45-minute warm-up on the actual exam route. You arrive ready.

Probationary licence

24 months

You hold a probationary licence for 24 months. Zero tolerance and a few demerit-point rules apply before the permanent licence.
