Class 3 Straight truck

Class 3 lets you drive 2- or 3-axle straight trucks — moving trucks, dump trucks, garbage trucks, heavy delivery vehicles. No trailer to couple, but a serious heavy vehicle to master on the road.

The program is concrete and 100% driving-focused: basic mechanics, yard manoeuvres, and above all real time behind the wheel in traffic. At Qazi we train a lot of candidates transitioning into local delivery, construction, municipal transport, and light industrial roles.

    Prerequisite check

    1 session

    Verify Class 5, medical fitness, driving record. We discuss your project (delivery, construction, etc.) to right-size the number of hours.

  2. 02

    Yard manoeuvres

    Private practice

    Driving the straight truck, tight-space manoeuvres, reversing and dock parking. We build confidence before the road.

  3. 03

    Urban driving

    Montreal streets

    Dense traffic, simulated deliveries, tight downtown turns, respect for heavy-vehicle restrictions. Extra hours at $90 / h based on how quickly you progress.

  4. 04

    SAAQ exam

    ~1 h

    Vehicle inspection, yard manoeuvres, road portion. Vehicle provided by Qazi, warm-up included.
